Dear Ms Hendricks:
I am writing a piece on the Master Classes of 1972 with Maria Callas. I know that you were one of her students. I also interviewed Cynthia Clarey. Would you consider an interview so I may include you? My first book, Silent Stars Speak, was published to critical acclaim in 2001 by McFarland. Thank you so much for your consideration.

Happy Birthday! My brother, Bobby Brown was in your 1965 class at Horace Mann. I was Billy's babysitter when Ruthie & Bill lived in Village Square. I work at Mosaic Templars Cultural Center in Little Rock (mosaictemplars.com). Mosaic Templars Cultural Center plans to invite you, Kevin Deas, another Arkansas, and several world-renowned opera singers to Little Rock for a benefit concert, no details at this time.

Enjoying Endless Pleasure! There's an LP of Dido and Aeneas in the house here in Vermont, but you're better than Flagstad.
I first heard of you when you visited your mother's class at Brady School in Little Rock.

Hello Barbara, I am very happy at your wonderful life and career. My uncle was Dale Ganz and he was very proud of you. I was with Eleanor last weekend and she is doing quite well. Congratulations on all of your success! Mary Hahn

We were yesterday at Nicosia's "concert", if I can say so.
First, there was no program, no indication at all about what was going to be played.
The concert started with the Swedish string ensemble, and after 2 pieces, the conductor, apparently being told by some organizer to do so, informed the audience on what had been played and will be played.
Barbara Hendricks came and song 4 Mozart arias and ...that was it ! No "hello" or any word to the audience...the diva disappeared and was not appearing again after the break.
So her performance lasted some 15 minutes...
I felt a deep disregard for the audience and for Cyprus in general, and I regret the 50€ I paid for this fiasco.

Dear Barbara,

I’m listening to your marvelous voice right now and remembering how pleased was to work with you here in Brazil and how much I learned from you on that occasion. I hope you are very healthy and happy! Kisses, Claudia Feres.

To be frank with you I was more interested by the blues than the mélodies françaises from Chabrier, Massenet or Fauré. But now that I am reading yours Mémoires and listening your beautiful voice I think I was a stupid boy not to have known your personality and your soul before. As we say in French: mieux vaut tard que jamais!
